Description
For over 20 years, the hotel owners of the "Aristomenis Studios" - Stelios and Eleni welcome guests, many of whom return here year after year drawn by the hospitality of the owners and the unique beauty of Kefalonia. In 1998, after living in New York for more than a quarter of a century, Stelios and Eleni decided to return to their homeland replacing the vanity of the huge city with the quietness and comfort of their native island. A month later, they felt that they lacked the usual activity and decided that they would be able to find a way to share the splendour of Kefalonia and its unique atmosphere with those, who yearn for escape from the skyscrapers and smoky streets.
On a beautiful plot of land in the village of Vlachata that Stelios inherited from his father, they built the "Aristomenis Studios". Gorgeous location allows the guests to enjoy the beautiful views of the Ionian Sea and majestic mountain peaks of the Enos (Ainos) overlooking the neighbouring island of Zakynthos.
Already in the first two years, Stelios and Eleni received visitors from around the world, many of whom, conquered by the hospitality and kindness of the hosts, became close friends for the Aristomenis family.
In 2003, the complex was supplemented with a swimming pool, bar and another building, which housed the new studios.
Today, the hotel offers 23 cosy rooms of a "studio" type. Rooms are for 2-3 people. Slightly larger apartments have a separate bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests. Balconies offer a fabulous view of Zakynthos, blue waters of the Ionian Sea, and the majestic mountain Enos (Ainos).
Air conditioning will allow you to maintain the required temperature in the rooms. A small kitchen is equipped with everything required.
In the library, you can find a book according to your liking.
A well looked-after swimming pool will cool you on a hot day and the bar will offer refreshing drinks and snacks. Lovers can indulge themselves singing karaoke.
From the "
Aristomenis Studios" to the beaches
Kanali and
Lourdas, there is about 1900 m. The walk will give you pleasure, but if you are not a fan of hiking and you have no car, you can use public transport. A small bus runs on a route Lourdas beach - Vlachata - beach Trapezaki. You can find the schedule
here.
Taverns and shops are within a few minute walk away.
Lourdata is a charming town located just below the hill. Immersed in the green of trees and flowering shrubs, the lovely village houses “flow” to the milky blue waters of the gulf Lourdas. Having the status of a blue flag beach, Lourdas pebbly and sandy strip stretches for several hundred meters from the rocky promontory to a small dam, where the boats of the local fishermen find refuge from the waves.
We are confident that the home atmosphere created by the owners of the "Aristomenis Studios" will provide you with a wonderful holiday surrounded by unforgettable landscapes of the pearl of the Ionian Sea Islands - Kefalonia.
