The Petani Beach is located in the north of the Paliki peninsula. A magnificent panorama opens in front of you during a steep descent along a mountain road to the coast: clear water changes colour from dark blue to pale blue and green, a horseshoe-shaped beach shines white in the sun, and a powerful rocky ledge bursts into the sea as if a bow of a giant ship. Dark spots in the background of the sea surface disclose underwater boulders and islets.
It is often windy here and noisy waves rushing to the shore try to pull away with them into the water the belongings accidentally left ashore.
Petani is very much like Myrtos but coming short of deep coastal waters and cliff height.
Many voyage fans sail their yachts here to admire the surrounding beauty and soak in the crystal clear waters of Petani.
The beach has all the necessary amenities and lifeguards. In taverns, you can find good snacks and refreshments.
We would advise to take advantage of bathing slippers as the coast is large and small pebbles.
On the beach, you can watch a delightfully romantic sunset when the sky turns bizarre shades of red and purple and the bay is immersed in a mysterious haze of the impending night.
