Briefly about Captain Vangelis’ Special Cruises

The owner of Captain Vangelis` Special Cruises is justly proud of his forty years of seafaring experience. Originally from Kefalonia, he fell in love with the sea since childhood and has kept this feeling to this day.
The modern yacht “Niris” is a new, comfortable, luxurious vessel.
The main sallon is very luxurious. Big glasses around , they give you the sense feeling the sea very close to you. The seats on the main salon and on the upper deck have half-moon arrangement so the passengers can seat company by company ,family by family with a table in front of them like in yachts. Four luxurious toilets, two on each deck and two bars are available at your service. Diving platform and water slide make the swimming stops very enjoyable.

Travel along the southeast coast of the island to Fiskardo, with a stop at Karavomylos and the opportunity to visit Lake Melissani. The unique beauty of the coastline is breathtaking.

A cruise to Ithaca will introduce you to the wonderful beaches of Odysseus Island, the capital of Vati, the cozy port of Kioni, and admire the mighty cliffs of the Cape of St. John.

A sailing tour to Zante will leave an unforgettable experience of the blue caves, the charming village of Alykes, the remains of a ship abandoned by the crew and washed ashore in 1983.

A trip to the Kakawa reef will intrigue you with the mysterious underwater world, where the impressive-sized turtles Kareta Kareta love to be. In ancient times, this shallow water set treacherous traps for ships passing by, which in considerable numbers ended their voyage at the bottom of these tricky waters. The wooden hulls of the ships were completely decomposed, and various cargo, such as amphorae, became part of the reef.

In love with their island, Captain Vangelis and his team will be happy to share this warm feeling with you, claiming that the business they are doing is not just a business - it is their way of life! To give people joy, a piece of Greek warmth, to acquaint with the enchanting beauty of the pearl of the Ionian Sea - Kefalonia!
