Kanali beach

Kanali beach

A wild, virgin beach with clear water and sand. A steep path along a fairly high cliff leads to the beach. The coastline is long with beautiful places for secluded relaxation.

The southern tip of the island is framed by a graceful coastline covered with soft sand and sprinkled with white pebbles here and there. Huge boulders scattered along the shore divide the coastal zone into several wonderful beaches.

One of these wild small beaches called Kanali is located between Trapezaki and Lourdas.

A winding path offering panoramic views and running along the cliff towering over the sea will easily take you down to the beach.

There are no showers and dressing cabins there, but only virginal purity and beauty of Kefalonia almost untouched by civilization. Go along the coast a bit to the side and you will find yourself in complete privacy enjoying a swim in the clear, azure waters that are shallow near the shore here.
Hikers will enjoy a walk, for example, on the beach in the direction of Lourdas. High cliffs, fragments of rock, and ruins of old buildings make the coast very scenic.
